Sunday 28th February is Rare Disease Day. Rare Disease UK, a campaign run by the charity Genetic Alliance UK, is the official organiser of the day in the UK.Rare conditions are individually uncommon but collectively there over 6,000 conditions that will affect 1 in 17 people in the UK.Rare Disease Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of rare conditions and improve access to care, treatment, information and support.
