VHL Awareness Month takes place annually every May, to raise awareness of VHL disease to the general public, patients and medical practitioners.

VHL Awareness Month has increased its presence recently due to overwhelming support globally, of which we thank you for your involvement and for any future support.


How to get involved with VHL Awareness Month

1. Spread the message

Download and print the VHL Disease Awareness Month poster.
Download and print the VHL Disease fact sheet.
Share posts and images from the official VHL UK/Ireland Facebook page and invite your friends to ‘like’ the page.
Fundraise for VHL UK/Ireland – it may help to have the fact sheet whilst fundraising to spread awareness.
Request a VHL UK/Ireland fundraising collection pot – please request by emailing uk@vhl-uk-ireland.org

2. Wear your VHL Disease pin badge or VHL UK/Ireland merchandise

Make sure to wear your VHL Disease pin badge and merchandise to spread awareness.
With every t-shirt, vest or hoodie purchased in May, you will receive a FREE pin badge.
Send your photo of you wearing your pin badge or clothing to us via email: uk@vhl.org and we will add to our ‘Spreading Awareness of VHL Disease’ album on Facebook and our website.
Items are available to be shipped worldwide.

3. Fundraise – raise awareness and funds at the same time

Whether it’s a bake sale, sponsored run, workplace ‘dress down’ day, it is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for VHL disease and funds at the same time.

4. Donate or collect funds and donate directly to VHL UK/Ireland
